Skills & Qualification
Ability to assess and diagnose communication disorders in individuals of all ages, including children and adults.
Strong knowledge of speech and language acquisition, development, and disorders, including articulation, language, fluency, voice, and hearing.
Expertise in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans to address communication needs and goals.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to diagnose and treat complex communication disorders.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities.
Mastery of electronic medical records systems and other technology used in speech-language pathology practice.
Evaluates patients of all ages to identify communication disorders and develops individualized treatment plans to address their needs.
Develops and implements treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based practices and accommodations to meet the unique needs of each patient.
Collaborates with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to coordinate care and ensure seamless transitions between services.
Provides therapy sessions that are tailored to meet the unique needs of each patient, including individual, group, and family therapy sessions.
Conducts regular assessments to evaluate patient progress and makes adjustments to treatment plans as needed.
Develops and implements educational programs to promote awareness and understanding of communication disorders and their impact on individuals and families.
Serves as a resource and consultant to other healthcare professionals and organizations on matters related to speech-language pathology.
