Staff Pharmacist at Medical Center Hospital – Odessa, Texas

Position Summary:

The Staff Pharmacist is responsible for providing safe, effective, appropriate, timely and cost-efficient medication therapy for patients. This includes but is not limited to proper and safe distribution and administration of medications, rational drug selection, monitoring administration and responsibility for the patient’s overall drug therapy.

Education:

A Bachelor of Science degree in Pharmacy and a certificate of practice from the Texas State Board of Pharmacy.

Job Knowledge:

Keep current with latest developments in hospital through professional organizations such as ASHP. Know good management techniques and know hospital and department policies and procedures.
