Chief Executive Officer at Central Peninsula Hospital – Soldotna, Alaska

Central Peninsula Hospital (CPH) is seeking a passionate and mission-driven Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead our organization and ensure the delivery of safe, high-quality, and cost-effective care. This executive role is responsible for strategic leadership, operational excellence, financial stewardship, and advancing CPH’s mission, vision, values, and strategic goals in collaboration with the Board of Directors, medical staff, employees, and the community.

• Provide strategic leadership to guide organizational direction, growth, and long-term sustainability.
• Ensure excellence in patient care, safety, and service delivery across hospital and clinic operations.
• Drive financial stewardship, operational efficiency, and resource optimization.
• Foster positive, collaborative relationships with the Board of Directors, physicians, employees, volunteers, and community stakeholders.
• Lead, mentor, and retain a high-performing leadership team and workforce.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and accreditation requirements as well as organizational policies.

• Master’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
• Extensive senior healthcare leadership experience (CEO or COO experience in a hospital or health system strongly preferred).
• Demonstrated success in financial management, strategic planning, and organizational leadership.
• Strong knowledge of healthcare operations, regulations, and industry trends.
• Exceptional communication, relationship-building, and community engagement skills.
• Commitment to advancing CPH’s mission, vision, and values.
