As the Jewelry Shop Polishing/Washroom & QC Clerk at Richline Group, Inc.’s New York Jewelry Shop, you will be responsible for supporting our shop Manager in the activities of the polishing room managing the flow of all job bags in all product categories into the polishing room through all processes pertaining to the polishing room with plating and finishing.


Key Responsibilities:

· Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks as assigned

· Read and respond to e-mails in a timely and professional manner

· Ability to quickly learn the needs of the day to complete critical tasks

· Meet with team members to review daily needs and deliveries

· Skilled in taking images of defective products and sharing in detail the issues with the procurement and QC teams who will in turn communicate the issues with vendors

· Work closely with merchandising team members to pop/reset/revise showroom styles and delegate the work to the specialists in the shop based on the needs of the customer on a timely basis

· Process new samples including weight verification and system updates of cost components

· Ability to delegate certain tasks based on the needs of the day


Qualifications and Skills Required:

· Excellent plating abilities and how to work the polishing room.

· Excellent interpersonal skills

· Deadline oriented with excellent prioritization skills

· Strong communication skills both verbal and written

· PC Skills (Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and Outlook).

· Ability to work independently and thrive under pressure

· Ability to take instructions and follow through

· Strong understanding of jewelry manufacturing process

· Basic understanding of product development process

· Knowledge in the use of a laser engraver. Training will be provided


Job Type: Full-time


Salary: $50,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday
