About the role
The Senior Project Manager at magniX will manage scope of work, resources, budget and schedule as well as monitor projects from initiation through delivery while interfacing with internal team members and integrated product teams.
Primary Responsibilities
- Organize project activities and lead integrated project team (IPT) meetings; ensure communication facilitates completion of the project on schedule and within budget constraints.
- Define project roles and responsibilities and lead the project planning activities - direct the creation, approval, and enforce ongoing change control of the project plan.
- Identification of program variance to plan, formulate actions plans to keep top level milestones on track through identification and management of the critical path.
- Perform detailed project tracking, recognize when problems are about to occur, bring the right people together to solve it with the right sense of urgency.
- Manage project priorities and perform risk management.
- Own team sprint backlog creation and manage active sprint tasks in a agile project management workflow
- Drive ownership of decisions and timely escalation to senior management.
- Collaborate and build relationships across the organization.
- Provide status on progress toward objectives to management and team members
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent relevant work experience
- 5+ years’ experience in program management including budget, schedule, and resource tracking.
- Highly proficient with MS project and Project Online Server.
- Familiarity and experience with Agile program management processes.
- Exceptional oral communication and formal presentation skills.
- High level of business and financial acumen, with proven ability to manage scope and budget
- Exceptional management and leadership skills and ability to communicate in a clear and concise manner
Compensation
- The salary for this position is $125,000 – $140,000 annually, DOE
