Position Summary
As a Guest Relations Teammate at Texas Health Fitness Centers, you will create an exceptional first impression for members, guests, prospects, and teammates. This role supports front desk operations, membership sales, lead follow-up, facility readiness, POS transactions, and day-to-day communication.
Guest Relations Teammates are often the first and last interaction a member or guest has with our fitness center. The ideal teammate is friendly, dependable, organized, positive, and passionate about helping others feel welcomed, supported, and valued.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide a welcoming, professional, and high-energy experience for all members, guests, and prospects.
- Assist with check-in, guest support, membership questions, facility tours, and front desk needs.
- Support membership sales, promotional goals, guest tour goals, and lead generation efforts.
- Complete lead follow-up, outbound calls, and guest communication in the appropriate software systems.
- Accurately process POS transactions, membership paperwork, guest passes, and daily facility activity.
- Maintain knowledge of Texas Health Fitness Centers services, programs, memberships, promotions, and wellness offerings.
- Communicate updates, policies, promotions, and facility information clearly to members, guests, and teammates.
- Complete facility hosting rounds and assigned task lists to keep the center clean, organized, and stage-ready.
- Communicate member feedback, concerns, compliments, or operational issues to leadership.
- Follow all company policies, safety standards, operating procedures, and service expectations.
- Participate in coaching, training, and role-play activities to improve service, sales, and communication skills.
- Uphold FX Well and Texas Health Fitness Centers standards for professionalism, teamwork, cleanliness, and safety.
Schedule: We are currently hiring for weekday opening shifts from 5:00 AM – 1:00 PM, weekday closing shifts from 1:00 PM – 9:00 PM, and weekend shifts from 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM. Candidates must have reliable availability for one or more of these shifts. Early morning, evening, and/or weekend availability are highly preferred.
Requirements:Skills and Experience
- Strong customer service, hospitality, and communication skills.
- Ability to create a positive experience for members, guests, prospects, and teammates.
- Friendly, dependable, organized, and accountable to daily responsibilities and performance expectations.
- Comfortable making phone calls, following up with leads, and supporting membership or promotional goals.
- Ability to learn and use CRM, lead management, POS, and member management software systems.
- Ability to work well as part of a team in a fast-paced fitness center environment.
- Commitment to maintaining a clean, safe, organized, and welcoming facility.
- Passion for helping others and supporting a positive fitness and wellness experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in customer service, hospitality, fitness, wellness, retail, or front desk operations.
- Experience with membership sales, lead follow-up, guest tours, or promotional campaigns.
- Experience using CRM, POS, scheduling, or member management software.
- Interest in fitness, wellness, health, or helping individuals improve their lifestyle.
