1st Shift Warehouse Worker - Freight Unloader at Innovative Distribution Services – Dayton, New Jersey

We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Warehouse Worker to join our team as a Freight Unloader. This position involves unloading freight and ensuring that all items are handled safely and efficiently. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented and able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Unload freight from delivery trucks and containers

- Sort and organize items for storage

- Ensure all items are handled safely to prevent damage

- Maintain a clean and organized work area

- Follow safety protocols and procedures at all times

- Collaborate with team members to meet daily unloading goals

Skills and Qualifications:

- Previous experience in a warehouse or similar environment is preferred

- Experience on pallet jack

- Ability to lift heavy items and perform physical tasks

- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

- Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team

- Flexibility to work various shifts as needed

Hours:

Monday-Friday 5:30am- finish (approx. 2pm).

Compensation:

- Hourly while training and then to piecework pay structure based on the volume of freight unloaded.
