About This Position
Position Summary:
The Assistant Program Director for Case Management works under direction of the Program Director of Case Management Services, is responsible for the coordination of day-to-day operations and budgetary aspects of program in a specific geographical area; may manage and supervises program staff.
Essential Job Functions:
- Support budgetary, employee management, program, and organizational goals.
- Interact with community/professional leaders and maintain relationships/networks.
- Manage internal/external relationships with autonomy and sound decision-making.
- Collaborate with partner organizations as a team member.
- Foster a safe and welcoming environment for youth, families, and colleagues, ensuring emotional and physical security without re-traumatization.
- Follow a trauma-informed approach, demonstrating sensitivity to individuals’ needs and experiences.
- Provide case management oversight in the Program Director's absence.
- Supervise Case Management Supervisors.
- Offer daily support and technical assistance to case management supervisors.
- Oversee and coordinate QI processes with the Program Director and VP of QI and Risk Prevention.
- Knowledge of interagency agreements/contracts within CBC area.
- Participate in community/regional committees and collaborative teams as directed.
- Ensure timely submittal of court documents and court appearances for case management.
- Identify and coordinate training needs for staff development, ensuring annual training goals.
- Review and monitor program expenditures to align with budget parameters.
- Stay updated on trends and participate in professional organizations.
- Follow agency policies and procedures.
- Trained and authorized to access protected health information.
- Manage special projects as assigned.
- Facilitate large groups and manage group dynamics.
- Arrive on time and ready to work.

- Take guidance from supervisors.

- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
Requirements:
Education & Experience:
BA/BSW degree, MA preferred, Case Management Certification preferred; subject matter expertise in foster care/adoptions; 6+ years’ experience in human services with 4+ years in administrative / program management and 3+ years preferred in direct service.
Ability to practice self-care and seek support as needed to prevent burnout while providing trauma-informed care.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to travel on a regular basis and statewide as needed; ability to bend, lift, and carry 30 pounds.
