About This Position
Job Summary
The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficient receipt, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch of goods. This role supervises warehouse staff, maintains inventory accuracy, enforces safety standards, and ensures operational targets for productivity, quality, and cost are achieved.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse activities including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping
- Lead, train, and schedule warehouse staff to meet operational requirements
- Ensure accurate inventory control through regular cycle counts and audits
- Monitor warehouse performance metrics
- Enforce health, safety, and security procedures in compliance with company and regulatory standards
- Coordinate with logistics, supply chain, and transportation teams to ensure timely dispatch and delivery
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, damages, or operational issues
- Maintain warehouse equipment and ensure proper use of forklifts, racking, and material handling tools
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to optimize warehouse processes and layout
Required Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field
- 3–6 years of warehouse experience, with at least 2-4 years in a supervisory role
- Strong knowledge of warehouse operations and inventory management practices
- Experience using ERP systems and Microsoft Office tools
Preferred Qualifications
- Forklift or material handling equipment certification
- Experience in an OEM manufacturing setting
