Position Information
Reporting to the Director of Contracts and under general supervision, the Contract Compliance Specialist provides a variety of analytical and administrative duties supporting the mission and contracting objectives of Planning, Design & Construction. This position will analyze and monitor contractor compliance with State and Federal labor laws and University policies; this includes investigating potential violations, auditing payroll records, and reporting and enforcing prevailing wage requirements on projects. Additionally, the position will manage the compliance, integrity, and accessibility of a complex electronic filing system. This position functions as the department’s data analyst for diversity reporting, synthesizing financial data to track spend utilization for small business, disabled veteran, and women-owned business enterprises for University of CA Office of the President (UCOP) reporting.The job code classification for this position is currently under review. The potential job codes for this role are RECORDS ANL 2 CX with a full salary range of $65,959.92 - $93,792.96 annually, or PROJECT POLICY ANL 2 RP with a full salary range of $57,691.44 - $99,305.28 annually. However, the expected pay scale for this Contract Compliance Specialist position is up to $85,984.00 annually. We base salary offers on a variety of considerations, such as education, licensure and certifications, experience, and other business and organizational needs. Applicants must have current work authorization when accepting a UCR staff position. Currently, we are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa for staff.As a University employee, you will be required to comply with all applicable University policies and/or collective bargaining agreements, as may be amended from time to time. Federal, state, or local government directives may impose additional requirements.
