Job Description
Lead with expertise. Invest in the next generation of clinicians. Build meaning inside a practice where supervision is treated as the serious clinical work it is.
Salary: $110,000 – $140,800 | Full-Time | Hybrid Remote |
Zeeva is a clinician-owned, trauma-informed psychotherapy practice in Los Angeles, built and led by clinicians who understand this work from the inside. We do something rare: we deliver premium, high-quality therapy while remaining deeply committed to accessibility, including Medi-Cal and Medicare populations who deserve excellent care just as much as anyone else.
We are looking for a Clinical Supervisor who takes the craft seriously. Someone who has earned their expertise, who leads with clarity and clinical precision, and who understands that investing in future therapists is one of the most consequential things you can do. You will carry your own caseload, provide structured supervision to a team of associate clinicians, and contribute to a practice that holds a genuinely high standard... together.
Everyone works together. That is not a value we display on a poster. It is how we actually operate.
What You'll Own- A clinical caseload of 15 sessions per week, staying grounded and sharp in the direct work you lead others through
- Clinical oversight of 6 associate therapists: case consultation, DSM-5-TR differential diagnosis, documentation review, and co-signing
- Individual and group supervision: structured, consistent, and oriented toward genuine clinical development, not just hour accumulation
- Coaching, feedback, goal-setting, and professional development planning, delivered with the clarity and kindness always
- Clinical quality across case conceptualization, treatment planning, risk mitigation, and evidence-based intervention
- Licensure hour tracking and BBS compliance for your supervisees
- Active participation in supervisor team huddles, collective learning, and organizational growth — this is team work, not solo work
You are a clinician who has never stopped developing. You hold a high clinical standard, for yourself and for the people you supervise, and you know how to communicate that standard with both precision and care. You understand that clarity is not the opposite of warmth. It is the foundation of it.
You are energized by complexity. A nuanced differential, a high-risk case, a clinician who is stuck. These are the moments you move toward, not away from. You know how to guide an associate through a difficult rule-out and come out the other side with their confidence intact and their clinical thinking sharper. You understand that what you give a clinician in that room ripples into every session they ever conduct afterward.
Requirements- Active California licensure: LCSW, LMFT, or LPCC required
- Minimum 2 years post-licensure clinical experience
- Meets all California BBS requirements to provide clinical supervision
- Deep grounding in trauma-informed, whole-person clinical practice
- Strong DSM-5 diagnostic expertise and working knowledge of medical necessity, HIPAA, and BBS laws and ethics
- Training and/or certification in evidence-based modalities
- Leadership or supervisory experience strongly preferred
- Commitment to clinical documentation as an act of professional integrity, not a checkbox
Clinical Supervisor Base: $110,000 Maintain a caseload of 15 client sessions per week and provide supervision to 6 associate therapists. This is a full, meaningful, and complete role in every way.
Optional Expanded Scope: Up to $140,800 For those energized by expanded impact, there is an opportunity to supervise up to 4 licensed therapists (10 clinicians total maximum) and grow your caseload up to 20 sessions per week. Compensation scales with expanded responsibilities.
Training & Onboarding: Compensated at $53/hour (the hourly equivalent of the base salary) for the first 60–90 days, while transitioning to salary.
Lead Clinical Supervisor Path: For those drawn to organizational leadership, program development, and high-level team strategy, a Lead career path exists, with a different scope and compensation that we can build together when the time is right.
