Description:

We are seeking a skilled and dependable Service Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain HVAC systems, refrigeration equipment, and commercial restaurant equipment. The ideal candidate is hands-on, customer-focused, and EPA certified, with strong troubleshooting abilities and a commitment to quality service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnose, repair, and maintain HVAC systems (heating, ventilation, and air conditioning)
  • Service and repair commercial refrigeration equipment, including walk-in coolers/freezers, reach-ins, and ice machines
  • Troubleshoot and repair restaurant equipment such as fryers, grills, ovens, steamers, and dishwashers
  • Perform preventative maintenance to ensure equipment efficiency and longevity
  • Accurately document service work, parts used, and recommendations
  • Communicate clearly with customers regarding repairs, timelines, and maintenance needs
  • Follow safety procedures, manufacturer guidelines, and company policies
  • Maintain service vehicle, tools, and inventory in a professional manner

Requirements:

Qualifications

  • Valid EPA Certification (required)
  • Proven experience in HVAC, refrigeration, and commercial kitchen equipment repair
  • Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to read schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • Ability to work independently and manage service calls efficiently
  • Strong customer service and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Trade school or technical training
  • Experience with gas, electric, and steam-powered equipment
  • OEM or manufacturer certifications
  • On-call or after-hours service availability

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Ability to stand, kneel, bend, and work in tight or hot environments
  • Ability to work both indoors and outdoors in varying conditions
