The Targeted Case Management Supervisor is responsible for overseeing case management services that support children and families involved in behavioral health, child welfare, or community-based programs. The TCM Supervisor ensures that children and families receive coordinated, high-quality support services while maintaining strict compliance with Medicaid and state requirements, particularly within programs serving vulnerable populations. The role ensures that services are coordinated, compliant, and delivered effectively to meet client needs and funding requirements.

Some of the Functions Include:
- Supervise and support a team of case managers providing services to children and families
- Ensure compliance with TCM guidelines, Medicaid regulations, and agency policies
- Review and approve case documentation, service plans, and client progress notes
- Monitor caseloads, productivity, and service quality to ensure effective service delivery
- Provide clinical or administrative supervision, depending on licensure
- Collaborate with internal departments, external providers, schools, and child welfare agencies
- Assist with audits, reporting, and quality assurance activities
Minimum Education
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Human Services, or a related field (Master’s preferred)
- Clinical licensure preferred or required depending on program (e.g., LCSW, LMHC)
- 3–5+ years of experience in case management, child welfare, behavioral health, or related services
- Prior supervisory or lead case manager experience strongly preferred
- Knowledge of Medicaid-funded Targeted Case Management (TCM) services and documentation standards
Skills Needed
- Strong knowledge of child welfare systems and behavioral health services
- Case management and service coordination expertise
- Supervisory and leadership ability
- Strong documentation, compliance, and auditing skills
- Ability to manage high-risk or complex family cases
- Effective communication with multidisciplinary teams and external agencies
- Trauma-informed and culturally competent practice approach
