The Role
Reporting to the Service Manager, the Service Coordinator supports the day-to-day administrative and operational activities of the Service department. This role is responsible for coordinating service work, scheduling technicians, and ensuring work orders, parts, and resources are managed efficiently.
As a key point of contact between customers, technicians, and internal teams, you will help ensure safe, timely, and high-quality service delivery while maintaining strong customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and schedule service calls, installations, and maintenance activities
  • Assign and manage work orders, ensuring accuracy and timely completion
  • Communicate schedules, updates, and service timelines with customers and technicians
  • Monitor job progress and follow up on outstanding work
  • Support parts and inventory coordination to ensure technicians have required materials
  • Maintain accurate service documentation and records
  • Assist with reporting, service metrics, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Provide administrative and operational support to the Service team
What You Bring
  • 2+ years of experience in service coordination, dispatch, administration, or a similar role
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in documentation
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with ERP or service management systems is an asset
  • Experience in propane, energy, HVAC, or field service environments is considered an asset
  • A proactive, team-oriented mindset with strong problem-solving abilities
