Job Description Summary:

The Director of Rehab oversees the therapy and rehabilitation programs for our short-term and long-term elders, including Physical, Occupational, and Speech therapy programs. This role is integral to promoting our mission of providing expert and compassionate rehabilitation therapy to the elders we serve, ensuring compliance in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, and A.G. Rhodes standards. The Director of Rehab supervises and leads all licensed Physical, Occupational and Speech Therapy Care partners while also maintaining a direct patient care caseload. Key responsibilities include overall leadership of the therapy department, budget management, fostering collaboration with interdisciplinary team members, and delivering person-directed rehabilitation services to promote an excellent quality of life for our elders.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited Therapy program (Physical, Occupational, or Speech Therapy)
• Must have current PT/PTA, OT/COTA or SLP license in State of Georgia as well as CPR certification
• Minimum of two years of management or supervisory experience in a Long-term Care or Skilled Nursing community
• Experience working as a Director of Rehab preferred
• Extremely knowledgeable of clinical rehabilitation practices and procedures as well as the laws, regulations and guidelines governing long-term care communities
• Strong ability to lead, motivate, and manage a multidisciplinary team of therapists and support staff
• Experience managing schedules, resources, and budgets efficiently
