Peak Paws Advanced Veterinary Hospital is a locally owned, 24/7 emergency and specialty hospital seeking dependable, motivated team members to join our Emergency Team. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced clinical setting and value teamwork, efficiency, and high-quality patient care.

Schedule:

• Full-time: 36 hours/week
• 4-day work week
• Rotating weekends required
• Schedule provided at least 4 weeks in advance

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist veterinarians with emergency exams, treatments, and procedures
• Monitor hospitalized patients and respond to changes in condition Utilize and expand your technical skill set with hands-on responsibilities including venipuncture, IV catheter placement, radiographs, in-house lab work, anesthesia monitoring, and advanced nursing care for emergent and critical patients.
• Maintain accurate medical records
• Communicate effectively with team members and clients during high-stress situations

Qualifications:

• Previous veterinary experience required (emergency experience preferred)
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Availability for evenings, overnights, weekends, and holidays as needed
