JOB SUMMARY

Surgical Tech I is responsible for providing intra-operative care to selected patients by assisting the surgical team and surgical support teams during and between operative procedures.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
-
Professional & Technical Skills
-
Experience gained through an approved accredited Certified Surgical Tech (CST) program plus an appropriate period of hospital orientation in the Surgical area
-

Education
-
Students currently enrolled in pre-requisites for an accredited CST program with the intention of applying within the next application window.
Students must have completed or enrolled in Anatomy 1

CPR Certification

Other Skills or Requirements

Skilled to Care for Certain Age-Related Patient Groups (incumbents will be skilled in the care of the following patient groups)

They will be under the direction of the surgeon and/or circulating nurse.
