Bachman’s Nursery Wholesale has an opening for a Nursery Yard Worker on our Outside Sales Support team member who has strong organizational skills, and is knowledgeable with perennial plant materials.

POSITION DUTIES:

• Provide on-site customer service to customers including but not limited to pulling product, reserving product for future orders, loading product, and giving directions.
• Monitor plant quality as orders are filled.
• Assist in other areas as needed in order to meet deadlines.
• Be a partner on managing, organizing, and communicating customer needs to personnel across the company.
• Provide customer service and direction to on-site customers, vendors, and other traffic when necessary to ensure a positive experience for staff and customers alike.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Good working knowledge of landscape plant materials required. Basic knowledge of trees, shrubs, perennials, and annuals
• Good communication and customer service skills required.
• Must have good interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to work as a team player.
• Very detailed oriented.
• Ability to problem solve/ troubleshoot.
• Ability to work in a fast paced, busy environment.
• Interest in product and desire to learn more.
• Ability to work predominantly outside in all weather conditions
• A Motor Vehicle Record check will be conducted on all final candidates
