Job Description
Event Coordinator Position OverviewAvery Ranch, Teravista, and Falconhead Golf Club is seeking a creative and detail-oriented Event Coordinator to join our team. This role is responsible for planning and executing golf tournaments, club events, and private functions. The ideal candidate will bring strong organizational skills, a passion for hospitality, and an eye for engaging content. Key Responsibilities: Event Set Up, Planning & CoordinationEvent set-up and breakdown, including tables, chairs, linens, dish ware, and equipment, while ensuring all details align with client expectations and event standards.Plan, coordinate, and execute golf tournaments, private events, and special functions for three locations.Serve as the secondary contact for clients and vendors throughout the planning process.Create detailed event timelines, layouts, and checklists to ensure seamless execution.Coordinate with golf operations, food & beverage, and outside vendors to deliver high-quality events.Manage post-event evaluations.
Administrative & Team SupportAssist with membership communications and promotional campaigns.Maintain event calendars.Support cross-departmental initiatives to enhance the member and guest experience. QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Hospitality Management, or related field (preferred).1–3 years of experience in event planning, hospitality, or marketing (golf industry experience a plus).Strong knowledge of social media platforms and content creation.Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills.Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with Canva, or similar platforms preferred.Passion for golf, weddings, and hospitality is highly desirable.
