Job Description

Job Title: Director of Growth and Operations

Compensation: Competitive salary plus performance-based incentives

Employment Type: Full-Time Employment with Benefits (Medical, Life, Dental, Vision, and 401k)

Schedule: Monday through Friday. 8-hour day shift. No nights, no weekends, and no major holidays!

About the Role:

We are building a tele-oncology platform focused on providing patients with timely access to personalized cancer care. Our model combines physician-led treatment protocols, streamlined diagnostics, and high-touch patient support to improve access and responsiveness in a complex healthcare environment.

We are seeking a Director of Growth & Operations to lead patient growth, intake operations, and operational performance. This role will oversee the full patient journey from initial inquiry through physician handoff, ensuring a seamless, compassionate, and highly responsive experience. This is a hands-on leadership position requiring experience in growth operations, CRM systems, digital marketing oversight, and team management within a high-touch service environment.

This role is not centered around transactional sales, but on helping patients understand their options, access innovative care pathways, and receive responsive support during some of the most important decisions of their lives.

Success in this role comes from building trust, delivering clarity, and advocating for patients by helping them navigate innovative care options with transparency and compassion.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead Patient Growth & Intake Operations

  • Oversee the full patient intake and engagement lifecycle, from initial inquiry through physician consultation scheduling
  • Develop and optimize workflows that improve speed-to lead, patient responsiveness, and overall conversion performance
  • Monitor operational metrics, including lead response time, appointment attendance, patient engagement, and marketing performance indicators
  • Ensure prospective patients receive timely communication, compassionate support, and a seamless onboarding experience
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to improve operational alignment between patient intake, clinical teams, and leadership

Manage & Develop the Patient Advocacy Team

  • Recruit, train, mentor, and lead a high-performing patient advocacy and intake team
  • Establish clear performance expectations, accountability measures, and coaching strategies that promote service excellence
  • Foster a patient-centered culture focused on empathy, trust-building, education, and responsiveness
  • Support team members in guiding prospective patients through complex healthcare decisions with professionalism and compassion
  • Drive operational accountability and continuous improvement across all patient engagement touchpoints

Oversee Marketing and Growth Performance

  • Partner closely with marketing teams to support patient acquisition strategies across digital platforms including Google Ads, Meta Ads, and conversion-focused marketing campaigns
  • Assist in evaluating campaign performance, patient conversion trends, and operational scalability
  • Collaborate on landing page optimization, patient journey improvements, and intake funnel performance
  • Ensure marketing initiatives align with operational capacity and patient experience standards

Improve Systems & Operational Efficiency

  • Build, optimize, and maintain CRM workflows, lead routing systems, follow-up cadences, and reporting dashboards
  • Oversee Salesforce functionality and operational reporting infrastructure
  • Develop scalable systems and operational processes that improve communication, accountability, efficiency, and patient satisfaction
  • Partner closely with physicians, clinical teams, and executive leadership to ensure smooth administration handoffs and continuity of care
  • Identify operational gaps and implement process improvements that support long-term organizational growth

Qualifications:

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ Years of experience in operations leadership, growth operations, patient engagement, or consultative healthcare leadership
  • Strong experience with Salesforce and CRM management, including workflow automation, reporting, pipeline management, and lead routing
  • Experience managing patient acquisition funnels and improving operational conversion performance
  • Familiarity with digital marketing channels, including Google Ads, Meta Ads, and performance-based marketing initiatives
  • Exceptional organizational, analytical, communication, and leadership skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving healthcare environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience within healthcare, oncology, telemedicine, functional medicine, or integrative healthcare environments
  • Working knowledge of EMR/EHR systems and healthcare operations
  • Experience building scalable operational systems within high-growth organizations
  • Strong ability to balance strategic leadership with hands-on operational execution
