About This Position

The Director of Network Revenue Cycle is responsible for the overall operation and performance of all personnel, stakeholders, and contractors engaged in the revenue cycle process for professional medical services. The Director’s goals will be to accurately bill and collect for all professional services, ensure the highest standards of professional conduct for him/herself and the department and to maximize revenue to support the continued operations and growth of the Richmond Health Network and Richmond University Medical Center.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Revenue Cycle Director to oversee the financial operations of Richmond Health Network. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of revenue cycle management within a healthcare setting, including billing, coding, collections, and compliance. This role requires strong leadership abilities, strategic thinking, and the ability to implement efficient processes to maximize revenue and minimize financial risks.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop and implement strategic initiatives to optimize the revenue cycle process and improve financial performance.

2. Oversee all aspects of billing operations, including claims submission, coding accuracy, and timely payment posting.

3. Manage the revenue cycle team, providing leadership, guidance, and support to ensure departmental goals are met.

4. Analyze revenue cycle metrics and trends to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions to enhance efficiency and productivity.

5. Ensure compliance with all billing regulations, coding guidelines, and payer requirements.

6. Collaborate with other departments, including finance, clinical operations, and IT, to streamline workflows and enhance revenue cycle processes.

7. Monitor accounts receivable aging and implement strategies to reduce outstanding balances and improve collections.

8. Conduct regular audits to ensure accuracy and completeness of billing and coding practices.

9. Stay informed about changes in healthcare regulations, reimbursement policies, and coding updates, and ensure timely implementation of required changes.

10. Prepare regular reports and presentations for senior management, providing insights into revenue cycle performance and areas of focus.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Finance, or related field. Masters degree preferred.

2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in revenue cycle management, preferably in a large physician practice or healthcare organization.

Salary Range:

$125, 000 - $145,000 / annual
