Certified Nursing Assistant & Patient Care Assistant Responsibilities: 1. Personal Care Assistance: - Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, shaving, mouth care, dressing, hair care, and toileting. - Support clients with ambulation, positioning, transferring, and feeding. - Provide exercise routines, nail care, skin care, and medication reminders. 2. Safety and Security: - Ensure client safety by supervising the home environment and observing client well-being. 3. Meal and Housekeeping Duties: - Plan and prepare meals according to dietary needs. - Perform routine housekeeping tasks such as making and changing beds, dusting, vacuuming, washing floors, cleaning the kitchen and bathroom, and handling laundry. 4. Companionship: - Offer social interactions, engage in conversations, provide emotional reassurance, and encourage mentally stimulating activities. 5. Shopping and Errands: - Assist with essential shopping and errands, including handling the client’s money as per the care plan and Supervisor's guidelines. - Escort clients to medical facilities, errands, shopping trips, and outings. 6. Communication Assistance: - Help clients with writing or typing correspondence and researching information. 7. Training and Communication: - Attend orientation and agency training sessions. - Observe and report relevant client care information.
