Job Description:

• The OR RN Circulator will deliver nursing care to patients undergoing surgical intervention.
• Responds quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment.
• Ability to work with other members of the healthcare team to meet patient needs.
• Ability to interact positively and to communicate well with patients, families, coworkers, employees, supervisors and other hospital employees.
• Delivers nursing care to patients undergoing surgical intervention ranging in age from pediatric to geriatric.
• Cross-trained to provide post-anesthesia care.
• Responds quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment.
• Maintains regulatory agency requirements, nursing and hospital policies, procedures and standards.

Qualifications:

• Current Missouri Registered Nurse license and ACLS required
• Call required minimum of 1 day per week and every 4th weekend
• Annual influenza vaccine required.
