Affiliate Manager of Finance in Syracuse, New York at Crouse Hospital

The Affiliate Manager of Finance is responsible for the preparation, review, interpretation, and analysis of the financial activities and functions of the Crouse Medical Practice, PLLC (CMP). Develops and oversees activities related to implementing and maintaining the integrity of the organization's financial reporting system. Assists and oversees the annual budget process. Assists in providing the leadership team and department heads with timely, accurate and informative financial data to aid in making sound strategic decisions. Educates end users on interpretation and effective utilization of financial data to help CMP remain fiscally responsible.

Job Requirements:

Required: Bachelors Degree in Accounting required. Must have five (5) to seven (7) years of healthcare accounting experience.

Preferred: MBA is Accounting and/or CPA designation preferred.

Special Skills/Equipment: Strong computer skills and knowledge including Microsoft Office. Excellent communications skills both oral and written. Excellent planning and organizational skills. Ability to think independently with discretion, sounds judgment, diplomacy and decision making within the scope of the position responsibilities. Ability to work in a calm, professional manner. Ability to work as a team player with department heads and senior leadership. Ability to organize complex tasks and meet deadlines. Ability to juggle priorities and work well under pressure.

Salary: $120k + based on experience
