This role combines hands-on Workday configuration expertise with strategic advisory responsibilities across complex global client engagements. You will act as a trusted partner to organizations implementing and optimizing Workday HCM, helping them translate business needs into scalable, high-performing system solutions. The position involves leading end-to-end implementations while also advising clients on best practices and long-term system value. You will work across multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced consulting environment, balancing delivery excellence with stakeholder engagement. A key part of the role includes mentoring junior consultants and contributing to knowledge sharing across teams. - Lead the design, configuration, testing, and deployment of Workday HCM solutions across global client implementations.
- Facilitate client workshops to gather requirements, define solutions, and recommend best practices aligned with Workday capabilities.
- Manage multiple concurrent projects, ensuring delivery quality, scope control, and adherence to timelines.
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients, providing strategic guidance and translating business needs into system solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex Workday issues through root cause analysis and structured problem-solving.
- Mentor and support junior consultants, contributing to team development and capability building.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment and successful project outcomes.
- 4+ years of experience leading Workday HCM implementations within a consulting or advisory environment.
- Strong expertise in Core HCM with additional specialization in Workday Recruiting and/or Workday Benefits.
- Proven ability to lead end-to-end Workday project lifecycles across multiple simultaneous engagements.
- Strong consulting mindset with the ability to influence stakeholders and drive consensus.
- Excellent communication skills, including experience working in remote and distributed teams.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage priorities independently and deliver high-quality results.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and strong overall technical aptitude.
- Willingness to travel occasionally (less than 10% annually).
