The District Manager, Fulfillment Operations will oversee regional fulfillment performance, develop operational strategies, and ensure facilities deliver safe, efficient, and high-quality service.
- Manage and grow a regional network of fulfillment centers while supporting operational scalability and business growth.
- Monitor, analyze, and report key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify improvement opportunities and drive accountability.
- Develop operational leaders and support managers by providing coaching, guidance, and professional development opportunities.
- Partner with internal teams including sales, marketing, supply chain, customer service, and merchant support to improve overall service delivery.
- Establish operational standards and service-level expectations that enhance merchant satisfaction and customer experiences.
- Evaluate capital improvement opportunities involving equipment, technology, automation, and warehouse management systems.
- Support the implementation of new operational tools, processes, and systems to improve productivity and efficiency.
- Stay informed on evolving e-commerce fulfillment requirements, industry trends, carrier regulations, and operational best practices.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to evaluate fulfillment partners and operational capabilities.
- Ensure fulfillment operations maintain strong safety, compliance, quality, and regulatory standards.
- Promote continuous improvement initiatives across multiple locations and encourage data-driven decision-making.
- Travel regularly to regional facilities to support operational execution and team alignment.
The ideal candidate is an experienced fulfillment and logistics leader with strong operational expertise and the ability to manage complex, high-growth environments.
- Bachelor’s degree in operations, logistics, supply chain, business, or equivalent professional experience.
- 4–6+ years of progressive experience in operations management, fulfillment, logistics, or warehouse leadership.
- Strong experience managing direct-to-consumer (DTC) fulfillment operations.
- Experience leading complex warehouse or fulfillment environments with multiple stakeholders and operational priorities.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills with the ability to analyze data, identify trends, and communicate recommendations.
- Deep knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and experience partnering with product or technology teams to improve functionality.
- Strong understanding of e-commerce operations, fulfillment processes, and supply chain optimization.
- Experience with Fulfillment by Amazon (FBA) and/or Seller Fulfilled Prime (SFP) is considered an asset.
- Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to influence teams and stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities and complex challenges.
- Hands-on mindset with a willingness to actively engage in operational problem-solving.
- Willingness to travel approximately 50% to regional sites across Canada.
