The Group Product Manager, AI & Clinical Intelligence will own the product vision, strategy, and execution for AI-driven clinical capabilities, ensuring solutions align with business objectives, clinical standards, and patient outcomes. This role will serve as a key connection point between AI engineering teams, healthcare professionals, and product leadership while driving innovation in a highly regulated environment.
- Own and execute the AI and clinical intelligence product roadmap, aligning priorities with clinical goals, company strategy, and regulatory requirements.
- Partner with AI/ML engineers to define, prioritize, and deliver AI-powered features while translating clinical needs into technical requirements.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure AI solutions support evidence-based practices and maintain patient safety.
- Establish responsible AI frameworks, including evaluation criteria, human oversight processes, escalation workflows, and safety monitoring.
- Build analytics and measurement frameworks to assess model performance, clinical effectiveness, user trust, and overall impact.
- Guide AI product initiatives through the full lifecycle, including discovery, prototyping, validation, launch, and continuous improvement.
- Translate healthcare regulations and privacy requirements into product specifications and AI governance practices.
- Conduct research with patients, providers, and internal teams to identify opportunities where AI can improve care delivery.
- Present product strategies, risks, outcomes, and recommendations to executive stakeholders and leadership teams.
- Mentor product managers and contribute to building future AI-focused product capabilities.
The ideal candidate is an experienced product leader with a strong background in AI/ML, healthcare technology, and regulated product environments. They combine strategic thinking, technical understanding, and strong communication skills to align diverse teams around impactful solutions.
- 8+ years of product management experience, including significant experience working with AI/ML products in healthcare or other regulated industries.
- Strong technical understanding of AI/ML concepts, including model evaluation, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), AI guardrails, and responsible AI practices.
- Experience building products that support clinical workflows, healthcare operations, or patient-facing experiences.
- Knowledge of healthcare regulations and standards, including HIPAA, clinical decision support requirements, and patient privacy considerations.
- Ability to define AI governance approaches and make thoughtful decisions in complex, safety-sensitive environments.
- Proven experience leading cross-functional teams and translating between technical, clinical, and executive audiences.
- Strong analytical mindset with experience measuring product performance, business impact, and safety outcomes.
- Ability to operate effectively in ambiguous environments and create structured strategies from complex challenges.
- Experience partnering with AI/ML engineering teams and guiding technical product development.
- Preferred experience with behavioral health, mental health, eating disorder treatment, clinical documentation AI, care coordination platforms, value-based care models, or healthcare quality measurement.
- Competitive compensation package with a base salary range of $148K – $185K plus bonus eligibility.
