Job Description
This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Licenced Life Insurance Advisor based in Canada.
This is a fully remote opportunity for a licensed insurance professional looking to build a flexible, performance-driven career in life insurance. You will work directly with individuals and families to understand their protection needs and recommend suitable insurance solutions. The role combines consultative sales, client education, relationship building, and end-to-end application support. Qualified prospects and digital tools are provided, allowing you to focus on meaningful client conversations and sales rather than relying entirely on self-generated leads. You’ll have access to ongoing coaching, mentorship, product guidance, and established sales processes. The position offers significant autonomy, with the ability to manage your own schedule while working from home. Compensation is entirely performance-based, providing uncapped earning potential tied to individual production.
- Conduct telephone consultations with prospective life insurance clients to understand their financial protection needs, circumstances, and objectives.
- Assess client requirements and recommend appropriate life insurance solutions based on their individual needs and eligibility.
- Present available products, provide quotes, explain coverage options, and guide clients through the insurance application process.
- Follow up consistently with prospects, manage sales opportunities, and maintain accurate activity and client information within the CRM.
- Build trusted client relationships through a consultative, service-oriented approach and provide responsive support throughout the sales process.
- Maintain accurate client records and ensure timely follow-up on outstanding applications, questions, and client requests.
- Maintain current knowledge of insurance products, sales processes, licensing obligations, and applicable regulatory requirements.
- Use digital quoting platforms, online application systems, CRM technology, and other tools to manage prospects and applications efficiently.
- Participate in ongoing coaching, product training, and professional development activities to strengthen sales performance and product knowledge.
- Manage your own schedule, pipeline, and daily activities effectively while meeting client needs and individual performance expectations.
- Valid life insurance licence in a Canadian province where the opportunity operates, excluding Prince Edward Island and Quebec.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and explain insurance concepts clearly to clients.
- Confident and comfortable conducting sales consultations and client conversations primarily by telephone.
- Customer-focused mindset with a consultative approach to identifying needs and recommending appropriate solutions.
- Self-motivated and disciplined, with the ability to work independently in a fully remote environment.
- Strong organizational, follow-up, and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple prospects and opportunities.
- Comfortable using CRM systems, digital sales tools, online quoting platforms, and technology-driven workflows.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accurate client records and meeting compliance requirements.
- Previous sales experience is considered an asset, particularly within insurance, financial services, or another consultative sales environment.
- Ability to maintain professional standards, comply with licensing and regulatory obligations, and take ownership of your business activities.
- 100% remote work from home anywhere in Canada where permitted.
- 100% commission-based compensation with no fixed salary.
- Unlimited earning potential based on individual production and applicable commission schedules.
- Qualified leads provided through a marketing system, allowing advisors to focus on client conversations and sales.
- Flexible schedule with the autonomy to manage your working hours around client needs and performance expectations.
- Ongoing coaching, training, product guidance, sales support, and mentorship.
- Access to established sales processes, resources, and digital tools.
- Digital quoting platforms, online applications, CRM technology, and streamlined workflows.
- Eligibility for an additional monthly wellness bonus based on established performance and compliance criteria.
- Professional and supportive sales environment focused on client service, accountability, and advisor development.
- Opportunity to build and grow an independent insurance sales career with significant autonomy.
- Independent contractor structure, with responsibility for applicable taxes, licensing fees, and business expenses.
