You’ll also help strengthen research practices by sharing methodologies, documentation, and best practices across product and design teams.
The position is fully remote and suited to a flexible, analytical researcher who enjoys working in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.

Accountabilities
  • Lead mixed-methods research: Plan and conduct qualitative and quantitative research initiatives using methods appropriate to the business question and product context.

  • Conduct user research: Facilitate moderated and/or unmoderated interviews, usability studies, surveys, and other research activities to uncover actionable insights.
  • Identify product opportunities: Explore emerging needs and unmet user expectations to help teams discover opportunities for improving the overall dating and social connection experience.
  • Validate product solutions: Partner with product and design teams to evaluate concepts, features, and experiences throughout the development process.
  • Connect qualitative and quantitative insights: Investigate the reasons behind trends identified in analytics and combine behavioral data with qualitative research to create a more complete picture.
  • Influence decision-making: Translate research findings into clear, actionable recommendations that support product strategy, prioritization, and innovation.
  • Communicate compellingly: Create concise research reports and deliver engaging presentations that make insights accessible to audiences ranging from designers and product managers to senior leadership.
  • Strengthen research culture: Collaborate with Design and Product to promote effective research practices, document best practices, advocate for appropriate methodologies, and mentor colleagues conducting their own research.
Requirements
  • 1+ year of UX research experience in a product environment, ideally supporting B2C or B2B digital products.
  • Mixed-methods research experience: Comfortable combining qualitative and quantitative approaches to investigate complex product and user questions.
  • Interview and usability testing skills: Hands-on experience conducting moderated and/or unmoderated user interviews and usability studies.
  • Survey expertise: Experience designing surveys and analyzing results to identify meaningful user attitudes, behaviors, and patterns.
  • Analytical mindset: Strong ability to interpret research findings, connect different sources of evidence, and translate data into meaningful conclusions.
  • Excellent communication and storytelling: Able to clearly communicate insights and recommendations to audiences with different levels of research expertise, including executive stakeholders.
  • Empathy and curiosity: Approaches sensitive and complex human problems with an open mind, minimal bias, and genuine interest in understanding users.
  • Creative problem-solving: Flexible in choosing research methods and able to develop thoughtful approaches when questions do not have straightforward answers.
  • Collaborative approach: Comfortable partnering with Product, Design, leadership, and other stakeholders throughout the research lifecycle.
  • Adaptability: Able to thrive in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment while managing multiple priorities and evolving research needs.
Benefits
  • $40–$60 per hour in base compensation, with the final rate influenced by scope, responsibilities, experience, education, skills, internal equity, market conditions, and business considerations.
  • Six-month temporary engagement with the option to work remotely.
  • Medical, mental health, and wellness benefits supporting overall health and well-being.
  • 401(k) program with a 100% employer match on contributions up to 10%, subject to the applicable cap.
  • Employee stock purchase program to support long-term financial wellness.
  • Generous paid time off and 14 paid holidays.
  • Annual professional development training allowance to support continued learning and career growth.

  • 20 weeks of fully paid parental leave, along with fertility, adoption, and childcare resources.
  • Pet insurance and discounts as part of the broader benefits offering.
  • Company gatherings and connection-focused events that encourage collaboration and community.
  • A diverse and inclusive work environment where different perspectives and backgrounds are valued.
