Returns Technician (Pharmacy Production Technician) in Lexington, Kentucky at MedWiz of Kentucky LLC

Supports accurate pharmacy inventory by processing receipts, cycle/recount activity, returns, storage, and quality controls and by helping ensure medications and supplies are available for production when needed.

Job Responsibilities

• Process incoming deliveries and distribute medications/supplies appropriately.

• Complete assigned inventory counts/recounts and support accurate stock records.

• Process medication returns so eligible product returns to usable inventory promptly.

• Follow proper storage, handling, quality, safety, and disposal procedures.

• Support inventory control, stock availability, and production readiness.

• Assist qualified production activities such as non-DOSIS pre-pack work when assigned/permitted.

• Follow pharmacy SOPs and requirements relevant to inventory handling.

• Maintain accurate records and communicate inventory issues or discrepancies.

Basic Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent capability.

• Ability to learn and follow pharmacy/inventory SOPs, safety requirements, and documentation standards.

• Strong attention to detail, organization, reliability, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

• Ability to use or learn basic computer, inventory, and workflow systems.

• Ability to meet the physical requirements of the assigned work.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior pharmacy, healthcare, warehouse, receiving, inventory, production, or other regulated-environment experience.

• Familiarity with pharmaceutical products, inventory systems, or medication-handling workflows.

• 1–3 years of pharmacy operations, inventory, receiving, warehouse, or comparable experience; pharmacy technician credential if useful to the assignment.
