JOB TITLE: PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR (PAS) - 3:00pm to 11:30pm (2nd shift)
DEPARTMENT: MANUFACTURING (NON-LABOR)
REPORTS TO: PRODUCTION MANAGER
TEMPORARY POSITION FROM JULY TO DECEMBER WITH A POSSIBLITY OF FULL TIME.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Main areas of responsibility will be SRL production, Print production, Shipping, and Receiving. Including the completion of work orders, timely delivery of Sales Orders and Transfers, as well as their reporting.
• Train, instruct, and supervise employees using established production methods to produce a quality product in a safe and timely manner to meet production demands
• Inspect each line and check the product is being run according to the specifications of the job; take corrective action to resolve problems.
• Managing the operations processes to ensure completion and accuracy in our reporting, accomplishment of objectives and recording of productivity. Communication to upper management/other departments, and the other sites will be a key performance indicator.
• Expedite Hot orders to ensure we produce the necessary product to satisfy our customers’ demands
• Coordinate and supervise Custom order manufacturing through the factory
• Provide work assignments, procure parts, and communicate production demands to employees as well as perform quality and safety audits.
• Help to maintain the shifts safety and training programs to minimize accidents/injuries and to ensure a safe working environment.
• Meet and or exceed company metrics including safety, quality, cost, and delivery
• Document and complete production reports, scrap tickets, accident reports, and discipline notices while promoting and enforcing company policies, safety rules and work instructions
• Utilize accurate measurement tools to track area key indices, to identify unfavorable trends, and to take corrective action (low efficiencies, stock outs, ect.)
• Proactively use Lean tools to improve operating efficiency, reduce costs, and improve quality and safety results
• Maintain high employee morale through good employee-management relations and through knowledge of policies where applicable. Recognize and inform higher supervision of hourly employees' capabilities.
• Perform other duties as required
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Education / Experience:.
• 3+ years manufacturing leadership experience in the fields of assembly
• Associate or bachelor’s education
• Bilingual (Spanish), preferred.

Computer/technology skills:
• Proficient in Word, Excel, ADP, SAP and EPICOR.
Physical Requirements:
This position requires lifting cases weighing from 20-60 pounds repeatedly throughout the workday, loading, pushing, pulling heavy products, bending, reaching, and squatting throughout the shift while loading and moving products. Some sitting for extended amounts of time while processing paperwork and working on a computer will be expected.
