Restaurant Server in SOUTHFIELD, Michigan at NORTHERN HOTELS GROUP, LLC

Position Summary

The Restaurant Server is responsible for providing exceptional food and beverage service while creating memorable dining experiences for every guest. Servers are expected to uphold Marriott's standards of hospitality through professional, friendly, and attentive service in Fire Iron Grill, the lounge, room service, and banquet events as assigned.

Essential Duties

Greet and serve guests in a friendly and professional manner.

Take food and beverage orders accurately using the POS system.

Deliver food and beverages promptly while ensuring quality.

Upsell menu items, beverages, and desserts.

Maintain clean dining and service areas.

Complete opening, running, and closing side work.

Process guest payments accurately.

Follow all food safety, sanitation, and responsible alcohol service standards.

Work as a team to provide outstanding guest service.

Qualifications

Previous restaurant or hotel serving experience preferred.

Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 pounds.
