- Operate and support Kubernetes environments (e.g., Azure-based clusters), including deployments, Helm charts, routing, certificates, and configuration management.
- Improve and automate CI/CD pipelines to enhance deployment speed, reliability, and developer experience.
- Contribute to the development of an internal developer platform, including self-service tools, golden paths, and reusable templates.
- Support observability and incident response processes, including monitoring, logging, alerting, and troubleshooting shared services.
- Strengthen cloud security practices, including identity management, access control, secrets handling, and network security.
- Collaborate with product teams to enable efficient use of platform services without requiring deep infrastructure expertise.
- Write and maintain clear runbooks, documentation, and operational guides for engineering use.
- Participate in technical design discussions, code reviews, and proactive risk identification.
- Use AI-assisted tools responsibly for development tasks while ensuring security and validation of outputs.
- Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud provider (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
- Strong understanding of core cloud concepts including networking, compute, storage, identity, and secrets management.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or OpenTofu.
- Working knowledge of Kubernetes, including deployments, services, namespaces, and basic production troubleshooting.
- Experience building or maintaining CI/CD pipelines and automation workflows.
- Solid understanding of observability concepts such as metrics, logs, traces, and alerting.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate and escalate blockers effectively.
- Curiosity and resourcefulness in using documentation, peers, and AI tools to solve problems.
- Experience with Azure technologies such as AKS, Entra ID, RBAC, or Azure networking is a plus.
- Familiarity with Helm, GitOps, ingress controllers, or service mesh tools is an asset.
- Exposure to reliability engineering, security scanning tools, or FinOps practices is considered an advantage.
- Experience in regulated or compliance-heavy environments is a plus.
- 4 to 6 weeks of paid vacation annually.
- 5 paid personal days per year.
- Comprehensive group insurance coverage from day one.
- Employer-contributed RRSP / DPSP retirement savings plan.
- Annual wellness allowance.
- Access to telehealth services (Lumino Health™).
- Remote or hybrid work flexibility with ongoing work-from-home support.
- Inclusive and equitable work environment with strong commitment to diversity.
- Opportunity to work on healthcare-related products with meaningful real-world impact.
- Exposure to modern platform engineering, DevOps, and developer experience initiatives.
