Garden State Tile has been a premier luxury tile distributor since 1957. We are looking for an experienced Warehouse Manager to lead our high-growth Lancaster, PA facility. What You’ll Do:
- Drive Operations Excellence: Manage the safe receipt, storage, retrieval, accurate, and timely dispatch of luxury tile and stone goods.
- Master the Facility: Coordinate daily inbound transfers, containers, LTL shipments, and ground transport into our computer systems.
- Grow the Business: Build authentic local relationships with contractors and suppliers. Promote and sell sundry and tool inventory from the warehouse.
- Cultivate Relationships: Act as a trusted resource for internal showroom staff and external delivery drivers to resolve customer issues quickly.
- Lead with Values: Recruit, train, and mentor warehouse personnel. Foster a culture of employee engagement consistent with company policies.
- Manage the Fleet: Proactively schedule company trucks for efficient, cost-effective deliveries while overseeing regular vehicle maintenance.
- Step In: When necessary, assume any warehouse position to achieve the company’s daily output needs.
Who You Are:
- A "concierge" mindset leader—you greet every guest with premium service and thrive on running a safe, clean, and efficient warehouse.
- An operations professional who understands inventory mapping, strict cycle counts, spot checks, and asset protection.
- A territory logistics manager capable of managing delivery documents, organizing sundry stock, and executing contractor events.
- A tech-savvy leader proficient computer skills, tracking systems, and Epicor Prophet 21 technology or similar RFID warehouse technology.
