Site Reliability Engineer

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Site Reliability Engineer based in Brazil.

This remote opportunity is designed for an engineer passionate about building reliable, scalable, and resilient technology infrastructure.
You will play a key role in ensuring system availability, performance, and operational excellence across modern cloud environments.
The position combines automation, infrastructure engineering, monitoring, and incident management to support high-performing systems.
You will collaborate closely with development and operations teams to improve reliability and streamline deployment processes.
This role is ideal for a problem-solver who enjoys optimizing complex systems and creating robust technical solutions.
You will work with global teams in a remote-first environment while contributing to impactful technology projects.

Accountabilities:
  • Collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure system reliability, performance, scalability, and availability.
  • Design, implement, and maintain automated monitoring, alerting, and observability solutions.
  • Troubleshoot production incidents, minimize service disruptions, and contribute to incident resolution and continuous improvement.
  • Build and maintain infrastructure automation using Infrastructure as Code practices.
  • Support deployment processes, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud infrastructure management.
  • Perform capacity planning, performance analysis, and system optimization to ensure long-term reliability.
  • Develop automation scripts and tools to improve operational efficiency and reduce manual processes.
  • Monitor system health using modern logging and monitoring platforms.
  • Contribute to reliability best practices, documentation, and improvements across engineering workflows.
Requirements:
  • Professional experience in Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or a related infrastructure role.
  • Experience with scripting and automation using languages such as Python, Bash, or Go.
  • Hands-on experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Experience managing infrastructure automation, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment workflows.
  • Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, or similar technologies.
  • Strong troubleshooting, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across development and operations teams.
  • Good understanding of networking concepts and security best practices.
  • Experience with incident response, post-mortem analysis, and designing highly available systems is a plus.
  • Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer or Kubernetes Administrator are considered an advantage.
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
