The Role:
We are looking for a full-time skilled and self-driven Machine Operator to operate, set up, and maintain CNC machines. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with machine setup, tooling changes, quality inspection, and a solid understanding of engineering drawings. This role requires a strong attention to detail, a team-oriented mindset, and the ability to work in a dynamic manufacturing environment.
What You’ll Do:
Operate & maintain machines, loading stock, managing fluids, & chip removal
Perform setups & tooling changes to ensure continuous part conformance
Operate CNC equipment such as mills, lathes, & band saws as needed
Read & interpret engineering drawings to produce quality parts to specification
Inspect finished parts using metrology tools to ensure quality standards
Complete production and quality documentation for all jobs
Troubleshoot machine issues & assist other operators with technical challenges
Help train team members on Swiss lathe operation and setup
Collaborate effectively with team members across departments
Perform other duties as assigned
What We’re Looking For:
Self-motivated, problem-solver with a positive, team-oriented attitude.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational and communication skills.
Proficient in basic math, English reading/writing, using computers & tech tools.
What it Takes:
Wear PPE as required.
Physically capable of bending, standing, lifting (up to 50 lbs)
Strong hand-eye coordination and ability to perform fine motor tasks.
Able to hear and respond to sounds in a noisy environment.
1–2 years of experience operating & setting up Swiss lathe equipment is a plus
CNC machines (Horizontal Mill, Vertical Mill, Dual Spindle Lathe) exp. is a plus
Familiarity with G&M code programming is a plus
Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under limited supervision
