Job Description

Who We Are:

Digital Mass is a Salesforce consulting firm focused on Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, and Mulesoft. Our lean approach to software delivery allows us to deliver working code quickly. Our success stories are with Fortune 500 companies that turn to us to solve their critical business challenges. These enterprise companies choose us to help them discover the most vital and productive areas to focus on in their Salesforce implementation. Our Salesforce service offerings are enhancements, custom code integrations, implementations, and transitions from Classic to Lightning that produce results to accelerate sales.

Who We're Looking For:

We're seeking a true networker — an experienced Account Executive based in Minneapolis who can work in person onsite and is driven to win net-new business.

This is a net-new business development role, first and foremost. You'll open doors, build pipelines, and close deals that grow Digital Mass's client base across the Salesforce ecosystem. Your existing relationships with technology decision-makers are one of your biggest assets — and you'll put that network to work from day one, turning contacts into conversations and conversations into signed clients.

We want someone hungry, eager, and relentless. You bring urgency to every deal, thrive on the chase, and don't wait for leads to land in your lap — you go create them. This role is built for an outbound hunter with the discipline to follow through and the drive to keep landing new logos.

You must be passionate about building and developing key customer relationships from the ground up. We're looking for a motivated, entrepreneurial self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment and relishes the opportunity to build something from nothing. Most importantly, this requires urgency, drive, maturity, a bias for action, and a passion for continuous learning and self-improvement.

What You'll Do:

Business Development

  • Hunt for and win new clients across the Salesforce ecosystem. Retain and develop an ongoing relationship with your clients. Understand their business challenges and provide ongoing strategy and support.
  • Leverage your existing network of technology contacts and decision-makers to open doors and generate opportunities
  • Identify, cultivate, and aggressively pursue new business
  • Collaborate with prospects to understand their unique needs and tailor Salesforce solutions accordingly
  • Build trust quickly and move deals forward with urgency
  • Determine and drive Digital Mass revenue goals based on input from overall market strategy, market growth goals, and practice focus areas
  • Coordinate with Digital Mass local market personnel to meet defined performance, engagement, and revenue growth objectives
  • Support our practices in developing GTM strategies aligned with our partners

Sales Operations

  • Work closely with sales management and marketing to execute regional growth and go-to-market plans
  • Engage with our internal teams and partner together in account planning and co-selling efforts
  • Proactively communicate with internal leadership on sales pipeline and forecasts
  • Track, manage, and forecast a pipeline of net-new opportunities
  • Partner with pre-sales Technical Leads to develop compelling proposals and solutions to solve prospect business challenges and win deals
  • Manage pre-sales activities and track revenue when a deal is closed
  • Create and maintain project plans, budgets, and timelines for sales initiatives
  • Manage and execute client contracts
  • Stay updated on Salesforce updates, trends, and industry best practices

Sales & Marketing

  • Increase Digital Mass's brand awareness through networking, marketing campaigns, and partner events supported by marketing
  • Serve as a Digital Mass brand ambassador, building trusted relationships

What We'll Want You To Have:

  • A proven track record of hunting, opening, and closing new business
  • An established network of technology contacts and decision-makers you can activate quickly
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to deliver messages across a variety of internal and external audiences
  • The ability to articulate Digital Mass's partnership impact, value proposition, and offerings persuasively
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage a vast array of information and create structure in heavily ambiguous environments
  • Ability to interact with leaders and all levels of the organization in a professional and impactful manner
  • Ability to influence and drive revenue goals while working closely with sales team members
  • Experience handling budgets and complex schedules to get meetings booked
  • Highly self-motivated, with the hunger and urgency to drive critical outcomes
  • Strong interpersonal skills and demonstrable experience working with cross-functional teams, including remote teams in multiple time zones

What Will Set You Apart:

  • Understanding of the Salesforce ecosystem and its various products and services
  • Industry knowledge and a strong network with high-value prospects and channel partners
  • Experience with Salesforce, selling end-to-end implementations
  • Upper-level enterprise experience

What We Are Not Looking For:

  • An AE that relies solely on MQLs. Marketing is your ally and partner in arms, but you are the engine.
  • One-and-done sales
  • Desk jockeys

Digital Mass is proud to offer our employees and their families a robust benefits package! This includes generous PTO, nine paid holidays, parental leave, 401(k) with a match and no waiting period, and a range of choices for fully comprehensive health, dental, and vision coverage.
