Northwest Hardwoods is a leading manufacturer of hardwood lumber in North America and a fully integrated global supplier serving the furniture, cabinet, molding, and millwork industries. Our Supply Chain organization brings together Procurement, Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Inventory Management, Transportation, Warehousing, and S&OP. As part of our team, you’ll have the opportunity to make a visible contribution to a global operation.

At Northwest Hardwoods (NWH), you’ll play an important role in keeping our global supply chain moving. As an Order Coordinator, you’ll collaborate with our Sales and Manufacturing team to facilitate orders, as well as ensure the location and availability of the order. Lastly, you will “build” the product order, making sure it moves safely and efficiently–making it on time to our customer.

This position is all about coordination and attention to detail. You’ll be the person connecting the dots—making sure inventory is located and available, orders are processed correctly, you collaborate amongst the teams and ensure shipments move when they should. Your attention to detail and ability to build strong relationships will directly contribute to our ability to serve customers around the world.

Requirements:

What You’ll Do:

• Partner with Manufacturing Plants and Sales Team to coordinate inventory, availability & shipment.

• Develop strong working relationships with the internal team.

• Provide overall internal customer communication.

• Identify product location and availability and secure within a timely manner.

• Identify and resolve receiving/outgoing issues.

• Maintain accurate information in our database.

• Review new export orders in the system and process in its entirety.

• Partner with internal teams to ensure orders ship on time.

• Ensure accurate and detailed information.

What You Bring:

We’re looking for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, reliable, communicates clearly, and confident in building relationships.

Required:

• High school diploma

• Available to work in-office (Monday – Friday)

Preferred:

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar, fast-paced environment

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or a related field

• Associates Degree in related field

• Experience in logistics

• Strong communication skills

• Strong Excel skills
