Job Description
Location: 3425 S Clarkson St, Englewood, CO 80113. This position required in-office attendance.
Schedule: Mon-Fri 8AM-5PM.
Salary Range: $36.58 / Hour - $50.64 / Hour.

POSITION SUMMARY:
The Quality Management Data Analyst is responsible for providing strategic planning and evaluative services for data/data systems needed and/or utilized by departments.This position will analyze, design, develop, and test reports for hospital operations/applications using client/server databases. The Quality Mgmt Data Analyst will assist in the identification, evaluation, and implementation of opportunities for hospital0wide and department-specific quality improvement and compliance initiatives.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
- Licensure/Certification/Registrations:None
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university in a related field required.
- Experience: 1-3 years of experience utilizing SQL to query and assess data integrity across multiple databases. Proven ability to gather requirements and work with clinical and non-clinical teams to design and build reports using existing applications. Prefer experience developing data visualizations with Tableau and data analysis with R.
- Skills & Abilities: Excellent organization and customer service skills. Ability to successfully handle multiple priorities and prioritize and schedule accordingly while meeting established deadlines. Must be able to successfully and effectively communicate with a variety of personnel. Advanced team-building, conflict resolution, and communication skills, both verbal and written are required. Work collaboratively with other departments and physicians. Able to maintain a high degree of accuracy, dependability and strong attention to detail, both mechanically and technically. Ability to maintain confidentiality in all aspects of the position. Knowledge of building complex queries with SQL. Able to extrapolate and correlate financial data to prepare analytical and informational reports and have ability to explain this information to all levels of management. Possess above average problem-solving skills, judgment and flexibility. Strong computer skills with Microsoft applications including SQL.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Research and analyze data in appropriate hospital databases. Create, organize, and maintain files using database and spreadsheet programs; retrieve and organize data into required reporting formats; collect, retrieve and organize data to identify discrepancies and resolve inquiries; recommend solutions ensuring that corrections or changes are implemented properly.
- Assist with evaluating results of patient satisfaction surveys; identify and initiate improvement plans as needed.
- Responsible for the implementation and coordination of departmental projects based on the needs of specific departments.
- Develop and monitor annual performance improvement initiatives and key performance indicators. Create and coordinate corrective action plans as needed.
- Extrapolate and correlate data necessary to prepare analytical and informational reports to management and other departments. Provide in-depth explanations of information to others at all levels of the organization.
- Assist in compiling data and interpreting legal reporting requirements and regulations; assist in the preparation of clinical productivity reports; analyze productivity standards and measures and make recommendations for metrics; create and maintain statistical reports.
- Participate in monitoring compliance with regulatory and accrediting body standards related to quality assurance process, preparation for site visits, analysis of findings and development and implementation of corrective action plans.
- Maintain established integrated Quality Plan to help achieve quality, safety and patient experience goals. Assist employees with monitoring, assessing and improving clinical performance and patient experiences.
- Compile statistical information on healthcare associated infections, such as targeted surgical site infection-associated infections, and ventilator-associated pneumonia when appropriate to the hospital.
