Nurse Practitioner / Outpatient - CCMA in Providence, Rhode Island at CharterCARE of Rhode Island

Continuously carries out the CCHP Mission within CCMA to attain excellence in the provision of healthcare services by consistently fulfilling the commitment to quality, and by compassionately and skillfully delivering continuously improving total patient centered service.

Provide the full scope of general primary medicine services which fall under the Nurse Practitioner’s field of training, including but not limited to diagnosis, treatment, coordination of care, preventative care and health maintenance for all patients.

Education: Candidates must have graduated from an accredited program.

Licensure: Active Rhode Island license and DEA. Prefer certification in Family Medicine.

Experience: Professional clinical experience in specific area of practice, i.e. “Family Practice, Internal Medicine, etc.”

Contact with clients and / or families of clients, potential clients and patients, third parties, Providers, supervisors, managers and departments within the healthcare community.

Requires mental alertness, stamina to work in a constantly changing environment.

Must meet annual safety training requirements relative to a safe work place ensuring staff and visitor safety.

Must have good time management skills

• Intermittent periods working at a computer screen
• Physical demands require intermittent sitting, standing, lifting and walking.
• Involves working with frequent interruptions and multiple telephone communications
