Job Description
Overview
The Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for evaluating, developing, and optimizing manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, quality, and productivity. This role involves designing and implementing both automated and manual systems, managing workflows, and ensuring production operations meet safety and environmental standards.
The Manufacturing Engineer works closely with cross-functional teams, including engineers, contractors, and suppliers, to enhance production capabilities, resolve issues, and integrate new technologies into existing systems.

• Evaluate manufacturing processes based on quality criteria such as efficiency, speed, and output.
• Study production requirements and machine capabilities to support operational needs.
• Develop and test effective automated and manual manufacturing systems.
• Design and install production equipment.
• Organize and manage manufacturing workflows and resource allocation.
• Integrate systems such as equipment handling and transport into cohesive operations.
• Optimize facility layouts, production lines, machine operations, and network performance.
• Identify and resolve production issues and delays.
• Implement cost-reduction strategies while maintaining or improving product quality.
• Train staff on new and existing manufacturing processes.
• Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and suppliers to support production goals.
• Ensure all manufacturing procedures comply with safety and environmental regulations.
• Upgrade systems and processes by implementing new technologies.

Knowledge and Experience Requirements
• Previous experience as a Manufacturing Engineer or in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, fabrication methods, and tool design.
• Familiarity with manufacturing equipment and quality assurance techniques.
• Understanding of health, safety, and environmental regulations in a manufacturing setting.
• Proficiency in relevant software such as CAD and Microsoft Office.
• Project management experience and skills.
