The mission of the Operations Intern at Cozey

As an Operations Intern, your mission is to help Cozey build world-class operations capable of supporting our growth into new markets and the continued expansion of our product lineup. You’ll contribute to the operational foundation that lets Cozey move fast, scale with discipline, and continue delivering meaningful experiences to every customer.

What you'll be doing

• You will populate the Product Information Management (PIM) system across the active catalog, ensuring complete, validated, and consistent product attributes.
• You will assist in setting up the data structure and populating master data for the COS FC (Fulfilment Center) Locations multi-FC project, a critical-path enabler for Cozey’s fulfillment network expansion.

• You will run rigorous pricing validations across the website, Shopify, and the finance-approved pricing master — surfacing and closing mismatches and updating Shopify pricing as needed to protect margin.

• You will stand up recurring monitoring of pending orders, perform root cause analysis to categorize drivers (inventory, freight, system, vendor), and partner with FC, supply chain, and tech teams to implement corrective actions.
• You will support analysis of FC operations, including supply spend, performance metrics, and opportunities for cost savings or efficiency improvements.

• You will contribute to FC optimization by mapping product flows, reviewing SKU velocity, and recommending adjustments to product placement or racking configurations.

• You will help maintain operational documentation, such as returns procedures and product-specific guides, while ensuring processes remain clear and up to date.

What we're looking for

• Bilingualism (English & French)
• You are currently in a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Information Systems, or a related field.
• You are eager to gain hands-on experience in operations, master data management, and process improvement — and excited to play a real role in Cozey’s journey.
• You are comfortable with numbers and data tools (Excel, Google Sheets) and curious about how product, pricing, and inventory data flow across systems such as a PIM, Shopify, and WMS.
• Push for excellence: you hold yourself to high standards, take pride in getting things right, and believe small, compounding improvements drive big results.
• Do the right thing: you act with integrity and accountability — when you spot an issue, you flag it, own it, and see it through, choosing the harder right over the easier wrong.
