This role sits at the intersection of pricing strategy, commercial operations, and technology execution, shaping how pricing is translated into scalable, system-driven processes across the organization. You will lead the operationalization of pricing across quoting, order management, and digital commerce channels, ensuring consistency and business alignment. The position plays a key role in connecting strategic pricing decisions with real-world execution through enterprise systems and data platforms. You will partner closely with Technology, Sales, Product, and Analytics teams to modernize pricing infrastructure and workflows. This is a high-impact leadership role focused on improving efficiency, governance, and data-driven decision-making. The environment is fast-paced, cross-functional, and centered on operational excellence and continuous improvement.
This role is responsible for defining and scaling pricing operations across systems, processes, and teams while ensuring accuracy, governance, and alignment with commercial strategy.
- Define and evolve pricing operations across quoting, order management, and e-commerce channels to ensure scalability, consistency, and alignment with business objectives.
- Act as the primary liaison between Pricing and Technology teams to translate business needs into system requirements within pricing, quoting, and product data platforms.
- Oversee pricing execution and governance, ensuring accuracy, audit readiness, SOX compliance, and proper documentation across systems and workflows.
- Identify and implement process improvements to streamline pricing workflows, reduce manual effort, and enhance operational efficiency.
- Lead analytics and reporting initiatives using tools such as Power BI to deliver visibility into pricing performance and business outcomes.
- Guide how pricing and commercial data is structured, maintained, and leveraged across enterprise systems.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Product, and Technology teams to ensure alignment between strategy and execution.
- Drive continuous improvement in pricing tools, systems, and operational capabilities.
This role requires strong experience in pricing operations, commercial strategy execution, and data-driven decision-making, combined with the ability to lead cross-functional initiatives.
- 10+ years of experience in pricing, commercial operations, revenue management, or related fields (manufacturing or industrial experience preferred).
- Proven ability to connect strategic pricing decisions with operational execution in complex enterprise environments.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets and translate insights into actionable strategies.
- Experience working with ERP systems, pricing platforms, or digital commerce tools.
- Proficiency in Power BI, Excel, and other data visualization and analysis tools.
- Strong understanding of pricing governance, compliance frameworks (including SOX), and audit requirements.
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional initiatives across business and technology teams.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at senior levels.
- Strong problem-solving mindset with the ability to optimize processes and resolve pricing system challenges.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field (MBA or advanced degree preferred).
- Competitive salary range: $135,500 – $268,500 (based on experience and location).
