Summary of Position:
The JCC is looking for a passionate, energetic,creative, and motivated individual to join the leadership team of our EarlyChildhood program. The Brody Family Early Learning Center has a stellarreputation and robust enrollment, serving nearly 300 students. The idealcandidate has experience working with children and their families in botheducator and administrative roles, and is able to work in a fast-paced,creative, hands-on environment. The Early Childhood Program Manager will shareresponsibilities for supporting the curriculum and pedagogical needs of theschool, mentoring and coaching teachers, organizing professional development,and supporting operational needs of the department. This is a 12-month positionreporting to the Director of Early Childhood. It is a 40-hour a week, overtimeexempt role, generally working 10:00 am – 6:00 pm. Some nights and weekends maybe required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide pedagogical leadership for infant and toddlerteaching teams
- Supervise and manage all infant and toddler lead andco-teachers at the main site and Annex site(s)
- Plan, execute, lead, and supervise up to ten vacation daysover the course of the school year on days when school is not in session
- Reimagine, plan, and execute all “Grown Up and Me”programming, including a Stay and Play/January Two's class, baby playgroups,and vendor-based classes
- Oversee and supervise early childhood late stayprogramming
- Partner with Early Childhood Parent Committee (ECPC) toenhance family engagement efforts
- Support the purchasing of equipment and supplies inalignment with pedagogical approach, including expense tracking and supplyordering
- Work with Director of Inclusion and Diversity to providesupport to early childhood families
- Work with Children's Services team members to createsynergy and connection within all children's programming
- Support the EC Operations Manager to maintain licensingstandards and operations protocol
- Attend Early Childhood Department meetings and JCC staffmeetings
- Support the Camp Yachad Leadership Team to createcontinuity between camp and school programs
- Represent the Early Childhood program in cross-functionalteams, committees or agency-wide initiatives
- Clearly communicate regularly with colleagues to ensuretransparency, coordination, and total agency support
- Other relevant duties as assigned
Qualifications and Skills:
- Minimum Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education orrelated field required, Master's degree preferred
- 5+ years of experience as an early childhood educator orworking in an early childhood setting
- Strong leadership skills, including ability to buildrelationships, lead effectively, and supervise others
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Ability to effectively multi-task
- Ability tocommunicate clearly, both verbally and in writing
- Creative thinker
- Ability to maintain high energy throughout the day
Physical Demands:
- Sit stationary at a desk working on a computer for part ofthe day
- Move freely around the building, and travel betweenon-site and offsite location(s)
- Spend time outdoors during the school day when needed
- Lifting up to 30 pounds

Salary Range: $65,000-$70,0000 annually depending on degree, skills, andexperience
