Interested in learning more about Pleasant View and how you can make a difference? We are looking for a Healthcare Activities Assistant who is passionate about their work.

Shift Availability:

  • 5pm-8pm- 1 week day
  • EOW- 9am-4pm
  • $500 sign-on BONUS

Responsibilities:

  • Implementation of recreational programs
  • Monitor resident needs, preferences, and attendance
  • Clinical Paperwork (care plans, assessments, progress notes)
  • Calendar creation/prep and implementation of structured activities for a 34 bed LTC unit
  • Assist with supervision, training, and overseeing activity staff

#G3 Requirements: Qualifications of Healthcare Activities Assistant:
  • College degree or activity related certification preferred
  • Desire to work with the senior population
  • Strong interpersonal skills with awareness for dignity, respect, compassion and safety
  • Dementia care experience is required.
