This role is an opportunity to lead critical due diligence activities that support responsible growth, risk management, and strong partner relationships.
You will manage end-to-end assessments, evaluating regulatory, financial, operational, and reputational risks across complex programs.
Working closely with internal experts and external stakeholders, you will drive alignment and ensure high-quality reviews from onboarding through ongoing monitoring.
The position combines analytical expertise, project ownership, and strategic thinking to strengthen risk frameworks and operational processes.
You will contribute to improving due diligence practices, reporting tools, and risk management approaches in a fast-paced environment.
This is a collaborative role for someone who enjoys solving complex problems and influencing decisions across multiple teams.

Accountabilities:
  • Lead comprehensive due diligence reviews from program initiation through post-launch monitoring, assessing regulatory, financial, operational, and reputational risks with independence and accountability.
  • Manage multiple due diligence workstreams and projects involving cross-functional teams, enterprise clients, and banking partners across North America and Europe.
  • Partner with internal subject matter experts across Legal, Risk, Compliance, Information Security, Finance, Financial Crimes, Privacy, and related functions to drive efficient reviews and clear decision-making.
  • Facilitate walkthrough sessions, presentations, and discussions to guide stakeholders through due diligence requirements and outcomes.
  • Develop and enhance risk assessment frameworks, dashboards, and reporting tools to support visibility into program health and leadership decisions.
  • Collaborate with compliance and commercial teams to ensure programs meet partner-specific requirements while managing priorities and deadlines.
  • Identify opportunities to improve due diligence processes, including tooling enhancements, automation initiatives, risk mitigation strategies, and onboarding experiences.
Requirements:
  • 3–5+ years of experience in due diligence, third-party risk management, compliance, project management, program management, or a related discipline, ideally within fintech, payments, or financial services.
  • Proven ability to independently manage complex, multi-stakeholder projects from planning through completion while navigating ambiguity and competing priorities.
  • Strong analytical and research skills, with the ability to translate complex findings into clear recommendations for senior stakeholders.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with confidence engaging internal teams, banking partners, and external stakeholders.
  • Understanding of regulatory frameworks related to payments, card issuing, financial services, or program management.
  • Experience using collaboration, productivity, and risk management tools such as Salesforce, reporting platforms, dashboards, and workplace productivity suites.
  • A proactive, hands-on approach with strong attention to detail and the ability to work effectively in a rapidly changing environment.
  • Strong collaboration skills and a commitment to delivering high-quality outcomes.
  • Experience in financial technology, payment processing, bank partnerships, audits, or compliance reviews is preferred.
  • Relevant certifications such as CAMS or equivalent AML/BSA credentials are considered an asset.
Benefits:
  • Competitive base salary range of CAD $88,800 – $111,000, depending on experience, skills, and location.
  • Annual bonus opportunities recognizing individual performance and overall business success.
  • Flexible-first working model, allowing employees to choose the environment where they are most productive.
  • Remote work support through a dedicated monthly stipend.
  • Multiple healthcare insurance options.
  • Flexible vacation time.
  • Retirement savings program with employer contribution.
  • Equity participation in a publicly traded company.
  • Annual professional development budget to support ongoing learning and career growth.
