Led by board-certified plastic surgeon Dr. Kris Shewmake, who has been transforming patients’ lives since 1996, the practice is built on a foundation of surgical excellence, compassionate care, and a commitment to natural-looking results. Dr. Shewmake brings extensive expertise in plastic, reconstructive, cranial, and facial surgery, supported by advanced training at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences, UT Southwestern Medical Center, and UCLA. His experience treating complex facial conditions and birth deformities has further refined his expertise in facial reconstruction and aesthetic surgery, allowing him to help patients look as young as they feel while preserving their unique, natural appearance.
The Front Desk Receptionist is one of our most vital roles—you’re the first and last impression our clients experience, setting the tone for an exceptional visit from start to finish.
Work Schedule:
This is a fulltime, on-site position with the following working hours:
Monday-Thursday: 8:30AM-5PM
Friday: 8:30AM-1:30PM

Responsibilities:
- Welcome patients, provide exceptional customer service, and create a warm, polished, and welcoming experience from check-in through check-out.
- Educate patients on and promote the practice’s services, memberships, weight-loss programs, skincare products, laser treatments, and other offerings.
- Schedule and coordinate appointments, manage patient flow, and ensure patients are kept on schedule throughout their visit.
- Process payments, assist with billing paperwork, maintain accurate patient records, and handle confidential information with care.
- Support daily office operations by maintaining the reception area, monitoring inventory, preparing patients for treatments as needed, and assisting the clinical team.
- Answer phones and emails, complete patient follow-up communications, participate in staff meetings, and assist with office events and initiatives..
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of customer facing experience.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking abilities.
- Proficiency in computer systems and typing skills.
- Knowledge of medical terminology, cosmetic procedures, and skincare products is a plus.
