Job Description
This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Account Executive – Salesforce Alliances & New Business based in United States.
As a Senior Account Executive, you will own a U.S. territory and drive growth through strategic Salesforce ecosystem relationships and new business development. The role centers on co-selling with Salesforce account teams rather than traditional cold outbound prospecting, making partner relationships a critical source of pipeline. You will position AI-driven Salesforce solutions across Agentforce, Revenue Cloud, Data Cloud, and generative AI transformation initiatives. You will manage the full sales cycle, from discovery and solution positioning through proposals, negotiations, and close. Working closely with Salesforce, marketing, delivery, and alliance teams, you will shape go-to-market strategies and translate technical capabilities into measurable business outcomes. This is a high-ownership role for a relationship-driven seller who enjoys building partnerships and influencing growth in a fast-moving environment.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with Salesforce Account Executives, Regional Managers, VPs, and Partner Account Managers across assigned U.S. regions.
- Spend regular time with Salesforce teams in key offices, traveling approximately 2–3 times per month to strengthen relationships and support co-selling opportunities.
- Drive joint go-to-market initiatives, including account mapping, lunch-and-learns, webinars, enablement sessions, joint pitches, and partner-sourced or partner-influenced pipeline development.
- Position Salesforce consulting and transformation capabilities across Agentforce, Revenue Cloud, Data Cloud, and AI-led solutions.
- Own U.S. revenue and pipeline targets, maintaining accurate forecasts and disciplined CRM management.
- Identify, develop, and close new business opportunities with small and mid-market organizations, generally with fewer than 2,000 employees.
- Manage the complete sales cycle, including prospecting, discovery, solution positioning, proposal development, negotiation, and closing.
- Develop compelling sales presentations and proposals that translate technical capabilities into clear business outcomes and ROI.
- Develop and execute a U.S. sales strategy aligned with the Salesforce SI/ISV partnership model.
- Collaborate with marketing, delivery, and alliance teams on go-to-market campaigns, case studies, and customer success stories.
- Provide market intelligence on customer demand, sales trends, competitive dynamics, and areas for future investment.
- Represent the organization at major Salesforce events, including Dreamforce, TrailblazerDX, World Tours, and regional events.
- Work closely with leadership in a fast-paced environment, contributing to sales strategy, commercial approaches, and growth initiatives.
Requirements:
- 7+ years of experience in technology sales, including significant experience within the Salesforce ecosystem.
- Proven success co-selling with Salesforce Account Executives and developing Salesforce partner relationships that generate referrals and pipeline.
- Previous experience working for a Salesforce System Integrator or ISV Partner.
- Demonstrated success selling to SMB and mid-market organizations, particularly businesses with fewer than approximately 2,000 employees.
- Consistent track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas in technology services, consulting, or similar environments.
- Strong working knowledge of Salesforce products, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Experience Cloud; familiarity with Agentforce, Data Cloud, and Revenue Cloud is highly valuable.
- Strong understanding of services selling, including solution scoping, SOW development, time-and-materials versus fixed-fee models, and margin considerations.
- Excellent relationship-building, executive communication, presentation, negotiation, and consultative selling skills.
- Strong pipeline development, forecasting, CRM management, and sales execution discipline.
- Genuine interest in AI and Agentforce, with the ability to communicate the business value of AI-enabled Salesforce solutions credibly.
- Proactive, energetic, customer-focused approach with strong business acumen and a growth mindset.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, founder-led environment and contributing to the development of sales processes and playbooks.
- Based in the United States and authorized to work in the United States.
- Willingness and ability to travel approximately 2–3 times per month to Salesforce offices and events, particularly in Atlanta, Chicago, Denver, Austin, and Washington, D.C.
- Candidates near Atlanta, Chicago, Denver, Washington, D.C., Austin, or Plano, Texas are preferred, while exceptional remote candidates elsewhere in the U.S. may also be considered.
Benefits:
- Fully remote position within the United States.
- Performance-based variable compensation tied to revenue performance.
- Medical insurance reimbursement of up to $500 per month for a healthcare marketplace or qualified individual plan.
- 15 days of paid time off annually, in addition to company holidays.
- Wellness reimbursement of up to $50 per month for eligible wellness activities and services.
- Access to AI tools and AI-assisted workflows designed to support sales productivity and execution.
- Opportunity to work with Salesforce technologies including Agentforce, Revenue Cloud, Data Cloud, and generative AI solutions.
- Direct access to senior leadership and opportunities to contribute to business strategy, commercial initiatives, and growth.
- Collaborative environment with cross-functional partnership across sales, marketing, delivery, and alliance teams.
- Opportunity to participate in major Salesforce ecosystem events and develop relationships across the partner network.
- Benefits are reviewed annually as the U.S. team and operations continue to grow.
