Ellis CareNet OBGYN Physician in Niskayuna, New York at Ellis Medicine

Ellis Medicine is seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible General Obstetrician/Gynecologist to join Ellis CareNet OB/GYN- an established women's health practice serving patients throughout New York's Capital Region.

Recently acquired by Ellis Medicine, CareNet brings an established patient population, experienced physicians and a strong history of providing comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic care to the community. The practice currently includes five physicians and one advanced practice provider and has two convenient Capital Region locations in Clifton Park and at Bellevue Woman's Center in Niskayuna.

The practice delivers approximately 510 babies annually and offers a broad scope of general OB/GYN care, including routine and high-risk obstetrics, preventive gynecology, office-based procedures and minimally invasive gynecologic surgery.

This is an excellent opportunity for a general OB/GYN physician who enjoys practicing the full breadth of women's health in a collaborative, established practice with access to the resources of Ellis Medicine.

Position Highlights

• Deliveries at Bellevue Woman's Center, a dedicated women's and infants' facility
• Collaborative environment with experienced OB/GYN physicians and APPs
• Support from the broader Ellis Medicine women's health and surgical services

Clinical Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive obstetric care, including prenatal, antepartum, intrapartum and postpartum care
• Manage both routine and higher-risk obstetric patients in collaboration with Maternal-Fetal Medicine when appropriate
• Perform vaginal and cesarean deliveries
• Provide comprehensive gynecologic care, including preventive and well-woman services
• Evaluate and manage common gynecologic conditions
• Provide contraceptive counseling and perform contraceptive procedures, including IUD and Nexplanon placement and removal
• Perform colposcopies and other appropriate office-based gynecologic procedures
• Perform minimally invasive gynecologic procedures and surgeries, including laparoscopies and hysteroscopies
• Perform myomectomies and other surgical procedures for benign gynecologic conditions
• Provide patient education and counseling across all stages of women's health

Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology
• Licensed (or eligible) to practice in New York State
• Excellent clinical, communication and interpersonal skills
• Commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered care
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team

Recruitment Package

Ellis Medicine offers a competitive recruitment package designed to support your professional and personal transition to our organization, including:

• Guaranteed base salary of $350,000–$380,000 for the first two years with the ability to earn more in productivity
• The posted salary reflects the starting range of total compensation and does not include productivity bonuses incentives related to quality and performance, extra shift incentives, and other forms of cash compensation as applicable to the position. Please note that this salary range is provided in accordance with State law and is subject to variation due to the factors noted above.
