Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Client Services Representative to join our team at AtlantiCare Surgery Center, LLC. In this role, you will provide front-desk support and ensure a positive patient experience. Your responsibilities will include scheduling appointments, managing patient insurance information, and offering accurate financial guidance. With a focus on customer service, you will contribute to our organizational goals and collaborate with a dedicated team.
Responsibilities
- Greet and assist patients and visitors with a friendly and professional manner.
- Schedule patient appointments efficiently, ensuring timely and organized booking.
- Verify and update patient insurance information, addressing any queries or concerns.
- Enter client data accurately into the computer system, maintaining confidentiality.
- Provide financial information to patients, explaining billing processes and payment options.
- Handle telephone inquiries and direct calls to the appropriate departments.
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk area, ensuring a pleasant environment.
- Collaborate with the surgery center team to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Participate in performance improvement initiatives and provide feedback.
- Adhere to company policies and maintain a high standard of customer service.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- 1-3 years of office experience, preferably in a medical setting.
- Minimum 1 year of insurance, CPT4, and ICD-10 coding experience is preferred.
- Knowledge of medical terminology is an asset.
- Proficiency in Clinical Applications is preferred, with training provided.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
